Little Dell Music Studio's Group Piano classes (6 children max) are a pathway designed for beginners ages 7-12.

Introduction to Keyboard is for beginners aged 7-9 and uses Piano Pronto Keyboard Kickoff method and theory books. This class moves at an age appropriate pace that gets kids playing real songs, right away. In this 36 week course, students will learn keyboard geography (names of the keys), note values subdivided up to 8th notes, note reading in treble and bass clef C position, 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures, an introduction to simplified left hand chords, an introduction to accidentals, and how to read and play hands together pieces, with left hand chords and right hand melodies.

Prelude Piano is for students who have completed Introduction to Keyboard, or beginners aged 9-11 and uses Piano Pronto Prelude method and theory books. This 36 week program focuses on playing hands together in C position, reading and playing accidentals, subdividing more complex rhythms, while continuing to reinforce the concepts introduced in Introduction to Keyboard.
