This mini camp teaches the basics of ukulele in a fun action-packed class. Students will learn C, F and G chords, how to read a chord chart and lead sheet, steady beat and backbeat strumming, how to pick a melody and more.

In addition to playing the ukulele, we will also play music games and work on music crafts. Please be sure to pack a snack or small lunch and water bottle.

Ukulele required (Little Dell Music Studio sells ukuleles and accessories in house)

2 hour daily class • Ages 5-9 • Beginners

This mini summer camp uses the Full Voice Workbook and music games to teach 5-8 year olds an introduction to solfege (Do-Re-Mi) and music theory, beginning vocal warm ups, singing and rhythm games, and more. We will also learn 3-5 songs as a group and explore a selection of instruments including autoharp, piano, ukulele and boomwhackers. Soloing not required, but encouraged for interested students :)

In addition to singing, we will also play music games and work on music crafts. Please be sure to pack a mid-morning snack and water bottle.

This mini summer camp is a crash course in writing music! Using a blend of musicianship / theory lessons, plus group activities and individual work time, students will have the opportunity to write a refine 1-2 songs from start to finish.

Schedule includes lessons on: chord progressions; lyric writing; song structure; melody and themes; basic recording tips.

This camp is aimed at students with music experience, preferably with basic abilities on piano, guitar and/or ukulele, who are interesting in learning to write their own music.

This mini-camp is kids through teens with some music experience who are wanting a band experience. As a band, we will learn multiple songs across a range of music styles and levels to prepare for a Parent Performance.

This camp emphasizes learning band practices such as: listening to and playing with peers; guided music listening and analysis; charting music; reading charts; exposure to new styles of music; and more!

Students should come open to trying instruments other than their main instruments.

We will be breaking for lunch @ 11:30am each day while doing guided listening activities. Please pack your child a water bottle and lunch.

End of camp performance for parents will take place at 12:30pm on Friday.

This 5-day mini-camp is open to all levels of kids and teens interested in rhythm! Unleash the fun possibilities of using everyday objects to create a world of beats. 

Camp includes: learning basic drumming techniques, creating original pieces, using drum circle and call-and-response activities to learn new grooves and communicate, exploring different styles, and MORE!

Please pack your child a water bottle and small snack.

This 5-day mini-camp is open to current Let's Play Music students only who are moving from either 1st to 2nd year, or 2nd to 3rd year. Review the past years concepts through play!
